Bob Schacht Motorsports participated in the
ARCA RE/MAX Series Open Test Sessions at Daytona International
Speedway back in December, in preparation for the upcoming
ARCA 200 at Daytona in February.
With two cars and four different drivers taking part in the
test the Bob Schacht Motorsports team was busy for all three
days of the test. Drivers behind the wheel for Bob Schacht in
the #75A included ARCA RE/MAX Series veterans, Brandon Knupp
and Michael Simko with overall times hovering around the Top-10
all three days.
While the #75 B was driven by series competitor Benny Chastain
and newcomer Scott Stenzel, both drivers showed impressive
lap times.
According to veteran owner and crew chief Schacht, “The
test was very successful, we got some good feed back about
the adjustments we need to make for the race in February and
are working hard to get those completed so we can test one
more time at Talladega before the race.”
Bob Schacht and his team are planning on testing at Talladega
in late January in preparation for the Daytona event, for which
they have come to an agreement with NASCAR Craftsman Truck
Series driver Brian Scott to compete in the ARCA RE/MAX Series
event on February 9.

Development Programs in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and the NASCAR
